Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) – Act 3 of 2003 established the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), which has a wide range of security duties. In order to further strengthen and empower the Corps for improved service delivery, this Act was amended in 2007.
The Corps has carried out its duties in accordance with the Act’s requirements and has succeeded in accomplishing ground-breaking feats during the review period while staying within the bounds of the resources at its disposal.

Requirements For NSCDC Recruitment
Please dress in white shorts or pants and a polo for all applicants who are attending the Nigeria Security & Civil Defense Corps training. Additionally, you’ll need to have your passport photo and any other necessary documents, like face masks, emailed to you beforehand.
Before you arrive at our event venue, keep the following in mind: -dress comfortably so you can move around during the exercises. Before putting anything inside out, see if there are any facilities nearby.
The following items should be brought by candidates to the practice area.
- Recent Passports in Two photographs with a large printout of your name on the back
- One white flat-file jacket for the office
- Birth certificate or age declaration
- Properly filled out the guarantor form
- Authentication document
- Educational background
Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Training Date

Training Center for NSCDC
The Civil Defense Training will take place at various locations, including the Federal University of Lafia in Nasarawa State, the Games Village in Bauchi, the NSCDC Training School in Oji River, Enugu State, the Civil Defence College of Security Management in Abeokuta, and NABTEB in Benin, Edo State.
